Another huge day of quality racing at Caulfield, and expecting it to be hard to find a winner later in the day. Focusing on building a bank in the first event, where favorites have a 46% win at the Caulfield 1200m this year so far. Sometimes you just have to look to the obvious, and focusing on three runners in particular here. Generation is the stand out class for this race, and can’t see him getting rolled. Loves the Caulfield 1200m, top rated stable and rider, and to finish off he rates highly on the RKT (Statfreaks Rank for the track for the whole day). Should jump well, sit in a hold, and a burst of speed that can’t be matched. Dangers are Mars Mission who will be coming from the rear and closing out well, and Finance Tycoon who looks the obvious leader. Expect both to run well, but just can’t see Generation missing the mark.

| 5 | Mars Mission | Top turn of foot in the race, and will need it from back in the field. Expect him to finish the race well, but with a bit of a jump in grade and soft pace, might need some off days around him to win. Still, can do it. |
| 6 | Mornington Glory | Interesting ride for Melham to take on his return, but should have every chance midfield. Lightly raced and first time at Caulfield off a decent spell. Who knows. |
