Love the distance races at Flemington, and what better way to start your day off than a small field of high quality. Many of these horses deep into their prep, and surprisingly there looks to be a few that will challenge for the lead early. Really like the looks of Double You Tee in this race. Been on him for his last few starts, and whilst they haven’t been bad runs, they have seemed wasteful. No excuses today, pace on from stablemates, wide open track, give in the ground and few real dangers at this trip and class. South Pacific obviously looks strong, whilst Bertwhistle and Blanford Lad look to run good races at the odds. Really looking to Double You Tee to be fitter and get into the right part of the track in Race 1 and get us off to a good start.
