Race 2, N6 Nostalgia – Resumes here after close up 4th on debut run in handy maiden last time in. Was a nice recent trial winner which will have her primed for a first up assault from leading stable. She has the highest SFR in this race and the 2nd highest SFR at the meeting. James McDonald is gong at an impressive 21%-win strike rate when riding in sprint races and a huge 45%-win strike rate when riding leaders. James McDonald also has an impressive 29%-win strike rate when riding favourites.
Race 7, N3 Manbehindthemoney – Worked home well last start over 1600m to run into the placings when coming from off the pace. Should be nearing peak fitness for this and looks suited by the rise in trip. He has the 2nd highest SFR in this race and the 6th highest SFR at the meeting. James McDonald is going at a very strong 24%-win strike rate when riding in staying races and and an equally impressive 22%-win strike rate when riding horses that settle off the speed. This is also his best ride at the meeting as per our SFR.
