We have circled back again onto Clint Johnston-Porter who has been in great form over in WA. Clint has lined up a few strong rides with our statfreaks ratings data at Albany racetrack, the 4th of November 2022.
Recent Form:
Race 4: “Harmika”. Last 3 runs have been at a class level’s which this horse has not been able to compete in. Its back down to a BM58 which it will be better suited to the competition. Likes to run lead/on-pace and should have no problem getting into this position jumping from barrier 1, where it has a 50% top 3 finish strike rate. 4th up into this preparation, has raced well 4th up last preparation and will have no issues with the 58kg weight. Not sure it deserves to be favorite, as there are other similar rated runners in the race, in particular “Getyourmoneyandrun” who has produced good speed figures in its last two starts in comparison to the field.
Race 6: “Tales Of Manhattan”. Comes of a nice run last start 15 days ago, should be able to get into its settling position with burning minimal energy from barrier 4. This runner has finished Top 3 67% of the time when starting from barriers between 4-7 and can finish off to the line at the distance. Can win if able to produce a similar performance to its last start, with “Cosmopolitan Girl” the danger in the race who will jump from barrier 1.
Race 7: “Final Authority”. Last start 23 days ago, 4th up the data suggest this horse should put in a robust performance for this race. Its best figures are at the distance (1200) and was able to finish of strong to the line in its last start. Profile suggests this runner will push to the front, and if leading or on-pace, historical has a 50% strike rate to finish top 3. This runner has put in good past performances from wider barriers, therefore expecting a bit of energy will be saved with the jump from barrier 4, furthermore this runner is the best rated runner at the meeting with our statfreaks rating, best of the 4 rides for Clint (Rider), and best of the 4 runners A G Durrant (Trainer) has at the meeting.
