Race 4, N9 Our August Rose – Better suited back to 1400m where she was a winner two runs back. Looks a likely leader from the inside gate and should get the first use of the better part of the track. Is a winner on heavy ground and with a fitness edge on her side she will take some catching. Has the highest SFR in this race and the 7th highest SFR at the meeting. John Allen is going at an impressive 25%-win strike rate when riding leaders and a solid 16%-win strike rate when riding in middle distance races.
